Shadow Infrastructure Map
Shadow Infrastructure Map finds the external ecosystem your audience already trusts: the books, frameworks, communities, conferences, and people your market gathers around that you don't yet own a place in. It shows you where to earn a presence, with verbatim evidence from your own materials for every piece we name.
Every piece we name is external infrastructure your audience gathers around, traced to verbatim evidence in your own materials. We don't pad the map to hit a number, and we don't map your own properties back to you. If your content is largely self-referential and we find little external infrastructure to map, we tell you that honestly rather than fill the report, and if the map doesn't surface relevant external infrastructure for your space, you're refunded. 14-day delivery.
- Per-piece accessibility tier (easy, medium, hard) and strategic value rating
- 2 to 3 entry tactics per piece with rationale
- Top 3 to 5 recommended pieces to engage first
Process
- Purchase. Complete payment for the EUR 5,000 one-shot.
- Complete intake. At app.drosjer.org/dashboard/shadow-infrastructure-map/intake, provide your company URL, ICP, 2 to 8 content sample URLs (newsletter, blog root, key landing pages), and any specific focus question. Takes about 8 minutes.
- Extraction. The analysis reads your content samples, extracts the implicit methodology your content rests on, and identifies the shadow infrastructure pieces it can ground in your samples, each grounded in a verbatim quote from your samples.
- Delivery. 3 to 5 page PDF report delivered to your dashboard within 14 days of intake completion.
Sample output
Each shadow infrastructure piece is a real, named entity (a specific book with author, a named framework, a real conference, a specific person, a specific community) categorized as:
- Book, framework, certification, award, conference, individual, tool, or community
For each piece you receive:
- Accessibility tier (easy = open sponsorship or paid placement, medium = relationship-building required, hard = gated or requires existing reputation)
- Strategic value rating (high, medium, low)
- Your current relationship signal (absent, weak, moderate, strong)
- 2 to 3 entry tactics from the menu of 8: sponsorship, content collaboration, reference building, community participation, direct relationship, conference engagement, gift economy, joint research
- 1 to 3 verbatim evidence quotes from your content samples that ground the identification
Plus a 2 to 3 sentence methodology summary, a recommended focus list (3 to 5 pieces to engage first), and an honest extraction-confidence rating with flagged gaps.

FAQ
- What is shadow infrastructure?
- Shadow infrastructure is the external thought-leadership ecosystem your audience trusts: the books, frameworks, certifications, conferences, communities, tools, and people that exist independently of you and shape your market. It's the credibility landscape you can enter, not the one you've already built. We name only external infrastructure and deliberately exclude your own programs and properties.
- How is this different from Adjacency Report?
- Adjacency Report points at the audiences you want to reach. Shadow Infrastructure Map points at the external ecosystem those audiences already trust: the books, frameworks, communities, conferences, and people your market gathers around, which you don't yet own a place in. It maps where to enter, not what you've already built.
- What if my content samples are sparse?
- We deliver the map with honest extraction-confidence labeling. Thin samples produce a lower-confidence map with fewer pieces identified and gaps flagged explicitly. We do not invent shadow infrastructure pieces to pad the count. If you provide 2 content samples versus 8, you get correspondingly less coverage.
- When does the 14-day delivery clock start?
- At intake completion, not at purchase. You can purchase today and complete intake whenever you have your content sample URLs ready. The clock starts when you submit the intake form.
